Photography as a Way of Life
I suppose this is the part where I wax lyrical about photography being my passion. It is not. My passion is horse racing. Photography is simply a way of life that shapes how we see things.
My fascination with photography began when I was eight, captivated by a photograph of Humphrey Bogart handed to me on a shoot. I still have it today. That moment was the first time I realised an image could live outside your memory and still feel as powerful. I think about that picture often, and I know it is where my love of photography began.
What I Photograph
Over the years, I have been fortunate to capture the things I love most: faces, spaces, and plenty of races. I see everything as an image, always searching for light, movement, and moments that feel real. Polished or staged is not my style. I capture people exactly as they are, along with the stillness in the space around them. In this busy world, that quiet matters and it should be noticed.
The Way I See
When I am behind the camera, I am completely present. I notice the way light slides across a wall, the shadow stretching over an empty street, or the stillness in a wide open view. Every image is part of a story, and I aim to help you see what I saw and understand what I felt in that moment.
Exhibitions and Prints
My photography has appeared in exhibitions and publications. Every print here is available to purchase, mounted or framed in the style you prefer. I also take on bespoke commissions.
